We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager/Leader to oversee large-scale, complex, high-profile, and high-risk projects for I&IT initiatives
This role requires an individual with a strong background in managing multi-year, multi-million-dollar budget projects and a deep understanding of project management methodologies
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing project management, ensuring project deliverables meet clients' business requirements on time, scope, and budget
They will lead organizational development, strategy development, business planning, and ministry funding requests
The role involves monitoring and forecasting project costs, managing project schedules, deliverables, and scope, and promoting I&IT project management best practices
Senior Project Manager/Leader - Mandatory Skills
10+ years of integrated enterprise project management experience across business and I&IT teams
Demonstrated experience with managing multi-year, multi-million-dollar budget projects
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Visio, Project, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and other project management support tools
Experience utilizing various software development methodologies, including Agile/Scrum
Strong documentation skills, including the ability to create privacy, financial, communication, and IT documentation such as business cases, Privacy Impact Assessments, and Requests for Service
Public sector experience with ITIL processes, incident management, release management, and problem management
Senior Project Manager/Leader- Preferred Skills
Previous public sector experience is an asset
Knowledge of Project Management Institute's Project Management Body of Knowledge
Understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies, and practices
Familiarity with Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards
