Job Title: Technical Support / Desktop Support AnalystLocation: Edmonton, AB (Onsite)Contract Duration: 6 months (with possibility of extension)Job Overview:We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Technical Support / Desktop Support Analyst to provide onsite IT support to end users for our client in Edmonton. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues, ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.Key Responsibilities:Provide onsite Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to end usersTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripheralsInstall, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems and standard business applicationsSupport Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and basic Active Directory tasks (password resets, account management)Set up new user workstations, including hardware imaging and software installationDocument incidents, requests, and resolutions using a ticketing systemEscalate complex technical issues to higher-level support teams as requiredFollow IT policies, procedures, and security standardsRequired Qualifications:4+ years of experience in Technical Support or Desktop Support rolesStrong knowledge of Windows 10/11 operating systemsExperience with Microsoft 365 and Active DirectoryFamiliarity with hardware troubleshooting (PCs, laptops, printers)Experience using IT service management tools (ServiceNow or similar)Excellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently in an onsite environmentPreferred Qualifications:Experience supporting enterprise environmentsKnowledge of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, VPN, Wi-Fi)IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications
