Olympia Tile is the largest importer of tile in Canada and a key supplier in the United States.Why This Role MattersWe are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join the team at our Halifax branch. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for showroom and order desk customers, supporting contractors, distributors, designers, and retail clients. You will process orders accurately, provide product expertise, and work closely with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic, customer-service-oriented environment and enjoys building relationships while contributing to operational excellence.What You'll DoGreet and assist showroom and order desk customers by providing technical guidance and product expertiseReceive and process orders by phone, email, and in person, ensuring pricing, coding, and approvals are accurateProcess payments for cash ordersCoordinate with warehouse and logistics staff to schedule deliveries and resolve shipping issuesMaintain organized records of orders, quotes, and customer communicationsPromote new products and maintain showroom displays and samplesCollaborate with external sales representatives to support customer accountsWhat You Bring1 to 3 years of experience in inside sales or customer service (retail, distribution, or building materials experience is an asset)High school diploma required; post-secondary courses in sales, administration, or a related field preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAccuracy and attention to detail when processing orders and paymentsAbility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentAbility to lift up to 25 lbsExperience with ERP/order entry systems is an assetKnowledge of tile, flooring, or building materials is an assetWhat We OfferComprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, and more)RRSP program with employer contributionVacation and paid time offOpportunities for growth and development in a supportive environmentHow to ApplyIf you're ready to take the next step in your career and want to be part of a team that values customer service, product expertise, and teamwork, we want to meet you Please submit your résumé and a short cover letter outlining your experience and explaining why you are an excellent fit for the Inside Sales Representative role.
