Area Sales Manager, Western CanadaOur client, is a fast growing, family-owned manufacturer known for exceptional service, next day shipping, and a dealer experience that is fast, easy, and human. They are expanding their presence across Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest and are looking for a driven Area Sales Manager to build and grow a superior presence in the regions that beats the competition, and positions our client as the superior supplier in service and quality.What You Will Do• Grow existing dealer base across Western Canada and acquire new qualified dealers in other regions in North America as they are added to your portfolio.• Build strong relationships with showroom teams, train staff, and ensure that displays are installed and maintained at a high standard• Introduce new products and drive adoption across all dealers in your region• Proactively engage interior designers, builders, and multi family developers to win specifications and push demand back to dealer partners• Pursue large project opportunities and strengthen our client's presence in multi unit and high rise developments• Spend the majority of your week in the field during peak showroom hours, especially early mornings• Work closely with internal inside sales, sales assistants, and customer service teams• Capture insights from the field and provide product, market, and competitive feedback to leadershipWhat Makes This Role Unique• This is a pure sales role, not a customer service or admin heavy position• Hands on environment that requires comfort setting up showroom displays using basic tools and an eye for presentation• Fast moving, adaptable, and transparent culture where performance is shared openly and everyone is dedicated toward in the same direction• Ideal for someone highly self-driven in their career, motivated by autonomy, activity, and resultsQualifications and ExperienceWe are looking for a high drive sales professional who brings a mix of grit, relationship building, and business accumen. The ideal candidate will have:Sales Ability and Mindset• Proven success in field sales or territory management in any B2B industry• Strong will to sell, resilience, and comfort handling rejection• Demonstrated ability to hunt for new business and drive demand in a dealer or distribution model• Strong negotiation skills with the confidence to influence owners, managers, and showroom staff• Experience working in aggressive growth environments with high expectationsWork Style and Execution• Comfortable with travel monthly and quarterly across Western Canada• Early morning availability suited to showroom hours• Excellent organization, follow through, and discipline in managing territory plans and reporting• Ability to work independently in a remote field based role while staying closely connected to the internal team• Hands on capability to install or adjust showroom displays with basic toolsPersonal Traits• Humble, driven, and team focused• Comfortable in a transparent environment where numbers and performance are openly shared• Adaptable and quick to adjust in a company that evolves fast• Money motivated but grounded in outstanding service• Thrives in travel heavy roles and has no hesitation with monthly and quarterly travel across Western CanadaNice to Have• Experience selling into showrooms, building materials, plumbing, hardware, or related verticals• Familiarity with dealer models or specification driven sales• Previous exposure to multi family or project based selling
