This job is posted as part of our seasonal hiring for Spring/Summer, 2026, it will be a full time seasonal role. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIESThis is a diverse role that involves working across four different restaurants at Maligne Lake- The Lakehouse Café, The View, The Waffle Hut, and The Historic Chalet - and may include any or all of the following duties:Work a variety of shifts that may include, cashier, food running, food service, bussing tables, restocking, hosting, basic bartending, barista and assembling wafflesOperate the point of sale system with accuracy and efficiency, the responsible handling of cash, credit cards, and cash out formsAlways provide guests with exceptional serviceProvide a warm and welcoming experience by actively greeting and engaging with all guests as they enter the food and beverage locations and food service countersMaintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual eventsStocking and maintaining product levelsEnsuring correct cash and float security during operating hoursCommunicate with co-workers and management, forwarding observations and comments in a timely fashionUphold the high standard of environmental stewardship expected for all employeesMaintenance and cleanliness of service areas and dining areas.Assist in preparation of productsOther duties as assignedREQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSPositive attitude and good communication skillsThrives in a fast-paced, high energy work environmentPrevious Food & Beverage experienceCustomer service orientedA positive attitude and pro-activePro-serve qualificationsGuest service-oriented mindset and a passion for delivering memorable experiencesAbility to think on the fly and outside the box to solve problems with a positive attitudeSecond language an asset; - Mature, energetic, dependable and self-motivated;Enjoy working with a team in a busy, fast-paced environmentFlexible with work scheduleComfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time in both an indoor and outdoor environment.Be prepared for all weather conditions (Snow, Rain, Wind, Hail) The starting wage for this role is $17.00/hour.
