Role Profile: The ideal candidate should be a self-driven, dedicated individual with strong design and coding skills, who will work with Risk and Compliance to building surveillance models. This role requires comprehensive knowledge in SDLC lifecycle, which includes software design, back end and front-end development, and DevOps automation.This individual will work with fellow Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, DevOps and other teams in understanding surveillance model requirements, designing, implementing, and testing surveillance models in fast paced agile manner. In addition this individual should have strong interpersonal skills and feel comfortable working on a dynamic team.Key Responsibilities:1. Elicit, analyze, generate Business requirements documents (including Agile user stories, proof of concept models, and supporting documentation)2. Analyze data sets to determine data gaps and work with cross functional teams to bridge the gap3. Liaise with the development team to ensure the product is developed according to specifications4. Conduct Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), write and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test plan5. Create and manage the overall project plan at the project level; and escalate delays to the program leadSkills Required:1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar2. At least 5 years of experience in global organizations as a Technical Business Analyst3. Proficiency in Data Analysis with the understanding of business requirements4. Working experience in SQL, relational databases and data presentation5. Established technical knowledge in software development life cycle and agile methodologies.6. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; as well as work in an international team setting.7. Collaborate effectively across a variety of IT and Business groups, across regions and roles.8. Self-motivated individual and creative thinker who will take ownership of tasks assigned.9. Ability to problem solve and have creative solutions in challenging environments10. Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high energy, demanding and team-orientated environment11. Manage and delegate workload through the team12. Good customer service skills. Ability to deal with difficult situations gracefully.13. Experience in trade life cycles and asset classes, Equity, Fixed Income, Options, FuturesSkill Desired:1. Understanding of Compliance surveillance platforms (Actimize) and their models, Wash trades, Marking the Open/Close, Spoofing, Insider Trading, etc2. IT Project Management and SDLC knowledge/experience (Waterfall, Agile/Scrum) and experience using BDD3. Experience working in medium to large-scale development projects4. Knowledge of trades data, positions data, reference data5. Experience in Nasdaq SMARTS platform
