About the RoleOur Edmonton based client is looking for a .NET Developer who also brings solid data experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building solutions, solving problems, and working across both software development and modern data platforms. You will work closely with the team to design, develop, and support solutions built on Microsoft Fabric, Azure, and C# .NETThe team values curious thinkers who can code, understand the fundamentals, and learn quickly. Tools and platforms can be taught, but strong problem solving and technical depth are essential.Key Responsibilities• Design, build, and support solutions in Microsoft Fabric.• Develop code in Python and SQL for data engineering and pipeline work within Fabric.• Build or support web applications using C# .NET within the Microsoft Cloud.• Work with Azure based development tools and services.• Support API integrations and contribute to various integration projects.• Collaborate on Power BI related work and adapt to evolving Fabric capabilities.• Use Visual Studio, Jira, and Confluence to track work and document solutions.• Take direction well while also being able to think critically and work independently.• Deliver high quality work across multiple projects based on your technical strengths.What They Are Looking For• Strong software engineering background with solid coding fundamentals.• Experience with Microsoft Fabric or a strong willingness and ability to learn it quickly.• Proficiency with SQL and exposure to data engineering concepts.• Python experience within Fabric or the ability to pick it up fast.• Experience working in an Azure, Microsoft heavy environment.• C# .NET development experience is a strong asset.• Problem solver who thinks through design and execution, not just follows instructions.• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a hybrid team.
