We have an exciting opportunity for a Network Analyst - IP Networking in Regina, SK.


The Network Analyst (IP) is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the company's IP core network infrastructure.

This role involves a focused expertise in IP networking technologies, including routing, switching, and network security, to ensure robust and efficient data communication within the network.

You will be tasked with analyzing network performance, providing technical support for IP-based services, and conducting research and evaluations of emerging IP network technologies.


Main Duties:

  • Responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and supporting critical IP network infrastructures.
  • Act as an expert in IP networking, providing support for services such as VPNs, VoIP, and cloud connectivity.
  • Manage and optimize network performance, focusing on efficiency and security.
  • Develop and implement advanced security measures for the IP network.
  • Researching, testing, analyzing, and advising on system upgrades, enhancements, and/changes in technology or best practices in system management.
  • Work with vendors to acquire necessary network hardware and software, negotiate contracts, and manage service agreements.
Hours of work will include being on call on a rotating basis with other team members.

  • An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Arista Certified Engineering ACEa/ACE-P/ACE-E, Cisco CCNA/CCNP or equivalent certification focusing on IP networking.
  • Certifications in NGFW administration, security administration are a plus (NSE, CISSP, CEH).
  • Handson experience with Arista, Cisco and Fortinet technologies is an asset.
  • Expertise in advanced network technologies like VXLAN & EVPN for network virtualization, QoS mechanisms, and multicast routing is essential.
  • At least 3 years of experience working with advanced routing and switching technologies.
  • Experience in network automation, scripting, or programming.
  • Class 5 Driver's License
  • Clear Criminal Record Check
