SUMMARY:


Committed to service excellence, an Account Executive, Partnership Marketing is responsible for meeting and exceeding the ongoing commitments and contractual details that occur from the commencement of the partner relationship to the expiry of the agreement.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and activate Abbotsford Canucks corporate partnership contracts as assigned
  • Manage contractual elements to ensure they are fully executed by internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure that the goals and marketing commitments developed for each partner are being met in a timely and highquality manner with frequent contact to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Develop strong relationships at all levels of partners through consistent touch points to better understand their business, the KPIs, and objectives in order to grow the partnerships.
  • Develop postevent, midseason, and yearend reports to communicate program successes and proof of performance to Partners
  • Work closely with various departments as it relates to the approval and activation of all contractual elements in all areas of our business
  • Learn and utilize the Abbotsford Canucks suite of systems to execute and report on partnership success, including but not limited to Contest Rebel, Nielsen, Blinkfire, CRM, and Wrike.
  • Work closely with the Abbotsford Centre Operations Department to ensure that signage maintenance, development, and design is completed to match the partner's contractual agreement.
  • Execute client hospitality requests, meetings, and gameday hospitality requirements.
  • Facilitate execution of ingame entertainment, events, and inarena promotions

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 12 years' experience in partnership activation duties or related experience
  • Postsecondary education in a related field such as marketing or business management
  • Experience planning and coordinating events, conferences, and/or promotions.
  • Excellent people skills, with an ability to interact effectively with internal and external clients at all levels within an organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience drafting and editing business proposals would be an asset.
  • Highly organized with outstanding administrative and time management skills
  • Able to meet tight deadlines and work effectively in a highpressure environment.
  • Dynamic, hardworking, confident; a gogetter, with drive and initiative
  • Committed to ensuring superior customer service and supporting the team.
  • Solid word processing and spreadsheet skills. Working knowledge of desktop publishing software would be an asset.
  • Selfstarter who can multitask and work with mínimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends, as required.
