dedicated and energetic individuals who are looking for a position as a
Yard/ Lot Attendant at our Volvo facility - Calmont Truck Centre, Edmonton.
As a
Lot/Yard Attendant, your primary responsibility is to keep all units clean and ready for delivery, or displayed neatly in the yard.
- Inspect vehicles for noticeable defects and damages.
- Record the description of damages and list missing items on the delivery receipt.
- Park new vehicles in assigned areas.
- Keep vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving units as directed by the Sales Manager and in accordance with dealership display standards.
- Pick up vehicles from and deliver vehicles to storage.
- Check all vehicles to make sure they are working properly and advise Sales Manager of any problems.
- Keep unit keys stored in a secure location and ensure all units are locked.
- Pick up and deliver parts, personnel, and paperwork as required.
- Clean and vacuum vehicle interior. Wash and polish vehicle exterior.
- Replace missing or defective small parts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Valid Class 1 or 3 Drivers License or higher is considered an asset
- Selfstarter with the ability to perform in a fastpaced environment.
- Must be comfortable driving large vehicles and trucks.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
