We're looking for a Manager, Talent Acquisition, to join our national Talent Acquisition team.


You must be an engaging and positive leader, setting an example by going above and beyond and by supporting your team's ongoing development.

As Manager, Talent Acquisition, you will lead a team of skilled and passionate Talent Acquisition Consultants who are responsible for the entire recruitment process.

They will rely on you to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly, provide coaching and promote a culture of positive engagement and innovation.


Your work will have a significant impact on the development of talent acquisition strategies, program implementation, and process and system optimization, all while promoting the effective use of performance indicators.


What you'll do here:

  • Support team member development and track their overall progress towards the achievement of company and personal objectives.
  • Help improve established processes and practices with a view to continuous improvement.
  • Lead projects related to HR's strategic plan.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the job market for niche markets by leveraging market analysis.
  • Advance the effective use of key performance indicators, service levels, and monitor progress in this regard.
  • Work closely with business unit leaders to ensure the timely hiring of quality talent.
  • Track and analyze performance indicators to assess team performance, make strategic decisions, and improve processes.
  • Leverage insights and work closely with the Talent Acquisition Strategy team to identify actions that will deliver results.
  • Collaborate with other HR teams (e.g., Payroll, Benefits and Compensation) to ensure highquality processes.
  • Be an ambassador for our employer brand and support all initiatives to raise the profile of Intact Financial Corporation as an employer and destination of choice for top talent.

What you bring to the table:

  • Seven to ten years of related experience, preferably in a complex organization, including three to five years of people management experience.
  • Experience with professional and entrylevel recruitment strategies.
  • Effective communication and relationship management skills.
  • Focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to adapt and drive change management.
  • Analytical skills: constantly thinking about how best to measure results and convert data into meaningful action.
  • Bilingualism is an asset; this position requires regular interaction with colleagues across Canada.
