Job Overview:

As the Inventory Control Clerk, you will be accountable for verifying and recording receipts and materials requirements to maintain inventory accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all production orders are closed promptly in MS Nav with precise costing per order.
  • Collaborate with Production and Logistics to guarantee the accurate receipt of Production Orders and report scrap.
  • Process (report consumption) all materials requirements following procedure.
  • Investigate and resolve instances where items received are inadequately documented in the system.
  • Notify management of cycle count/inventory issues promptly.
  • Ensure correct month-end reporting and cut-offs.
  • Maintain the department database, generate routine reports, and file inventory control records.
  • Monitor the returns and hold process.
  • Regularly input inventory data into NAV promptly.

Recipe for Success:

  • Understanding of manufacturing and equipment for food processing and high-speed packaging, including Bakery Manufacturing and ingredients.
  • Capable of conducting financial calculations and establishing and managing budgets.
  • Sound judgement, analysis, and problem-solving skills, with decision-making abilities.
  • Effective at motivating and empowering team members through feedback and recognition.
  • Proficient in computer systems (MS Office, ERP systems).
  • Able to prioritize demands in a fast-paced work environment.
