55+ Cooking Instructor
**Contract, until June 2023 ($20.06/hr)
**The City of Pickering is looking for experienced enthusiastic instructors to teach in a fun recreational
atmosphere. Qualified applicants will possess over six months' relevant teaching experience and be
able to demonstrate strong communication, leadership and customer service skills. Qualified
applicants must be available for various shifts including weekends. All positions require a satisfactory
vulnerable sector screening as a condition of employment.

• Experience and knowledge in cooking and cooking dishes from cultures around the world.
• Experience in working with the 55+ community considered an asset.
• Education in Culinary Arts considered an asset.

Programs for children years require HIGH FIVE training (to be provided by the City).
