Job Description

Texada is seeking our next Director of Marketing. The Director of Marketing is a key member of the go to market leadership team and will manage the demand generation, sales enablement, and corporate marketing functions. In this role, the Director of Marketing will design and drive the overall strategy for marketing led demand generation. You will help in the development of key messages and will execute on promoting Texada's value offering to markets, prospects, customers, and other stakeholders. You are charged with the strategic and tactical build out and execution of our global demand generation strategy to both external and internal audiences.

Strategic Value

As a critical and visible member of Texada's leadership, you will manage the overall marketing and demand gen budget and develop compelling go-to-market initiatives and sales enablement programs. You will manage and grow the marketing team, set goals, and provide leadership and mentorship to the team to drive engagement, professional growth, and alignment to objectives and cultural values.

Work location and travel

This position is remote/hybrid. Our home office is located in Mississauga, ON. While there are no regular office days, there may be meetings you would be expected to attend in the office.

How you will be contributing

Marketing

  • Lead our marketing team efforts in defining, managing, and executing demand generation, brand awareness, and sales support
  • Interface cross-functionally to develop company capabilities, product differentiation and competitive advantages
  • Devise systems to capture insights and user experience from customers and prospects; work collaboratively towards continual improvement and differentiation of services
  • Provide direction, prioritization, and oversight of our branding and awareness efforts as it relates to our complete digital footprint (web, social media, email campaigns etc.)
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to partnering with Sales to deliver on revenue targets, and evolve and improve the CRM, marketing automation, and lead scoring systems
  • Manage, build, and coach the marketing team; create an environment focused on open collaboration, learning and development

Demand Gen

  • Create a highly scalable, multi-product model leveraging extensive experience in database marketing, including how to leverage third party data sources and master data management principles.
  • Segment markets and products to enable focused Account Based Marketing programs and priorities.
  • Drive awareness amongst key segments, prospects and customers leveraging digital marketing capabilities in a B2B application
  • Build and scale integrated and repeatable programs to drive qualified leads across several Geo's
  • Develop electronic methodology for importing third-party contact data sources into CRM
  • Create overarching integration and reporting structure between systems

What we are hoping to find in your background

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related fields from an accredited college or university
  • 5 to 7 (or more) years of experience in software marketing with at least 2 to 3 years in a leadership role
  • Proven ability to create, manage and execute integrated marketing programs across multiple cloud-based systems
  • Metrics-oriented, experience with Sales Operations and cross-system reporting
  • Proven experience-tested, analytics-driven lead generation, assessment, and optimization
  • Knowledge of best practices in customer engagement, acquisition, SEM, SEO, social advertising/engagement, email marketing, B2B marketing, account-based marketing, and marketing analytics
  • Project management skills, Process re-engineering, Resource budgeting and planning
  • Experience with a market leading CRM (Salesforce, Hubspot, Dynamics, etc) and marketing automation applications (Hubspot, Marketo, etc) , as well as experience with 3rd party contact data applications (e.g., ZoomInfo, D&B)
  • Event planning and execution experience (Trade Shows, User Conferences, Industry Conferences)
