As a

Lead you will provide technical consultation to the business area at all levels; system architecture, solution architecture, security, database design and etc.

You are a self starter, you can work with mínimal instruction, and you have the ability to 'find your way around'

You will be participating and leading R&D to determining the best solution to solve technical challenges


You will excel as you work with all levels of the business, ensuring information technology deliverable align with the business requirements.

You are a professional communicator. You know the how to convey message to different audience of different background.

You have the project management skillset to lead cross team, cross organization projects, investigations, and initiatives.

  • Provide consulting support for all phases of project development, implementation, and system operations management.
  • Provide mentorship, support and system administration of an interoperable solution that enables integration of clinical and business workflows across core clinical systems at Fraser Health, numerous other regional and provincial integration initiatives.
  • Participate in all aspect of SDLC, from requirement gathering to creating specification, from development to unit testing, from conformance test to production deployment.
  • Provide mentorship to team members

following:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related
  • At least seven (7) years of recent related experience in a technical role or software development role with three (3) to five (5) years of project management experience.

An asset to this role would be:

  • Familiarity project management best practise and artifacts
  • Familiarity with integration technology such as Microsoft Biztalk.
  • Experience developing in.
NET Framework (C#)

  • Experience with objectoriented programming.
  • Experience developing in Microsoft SQL (database maintenance, performance measuring, writing adhoc queries).
  • Working experience of RESTful API, Web Services, IIS, and Certificates.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle.
  • Familiarity of security best practices.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure and Networking.
  • Excellent skills in R&D.

Detailed Overview:

Supporting the Vision, Values, Purpose and Commitments of Fraser Health including service delivery that is centered around patients/clients/residents and families:

  • Provides guidance and expertise by consulting to all disciplines and stakeholders within an assigned portfolio by performing functions such as coordinating and performing feasibility studies, conducting workload efficiency analysis using formal data gathering techniques, analyzing, designing and implementing appropriate information systems, and identifying system deficiencies, user department operational inefficiencies and recommending ways of improving business efficiency functions.
  • Serves as a consultant participating on enterprisewide projects which are under the leadership of the Portfolio Manager; serves as back up to the Portfolio Manager in the area of team leadership or project management. Prepares status reports and meets with clients and provide reports back
