Specific Skills
· Supervise team members to ensure primary and secondary duties are completed.
· Overseeing food preparation, food service and storage to ensure compliance with food health and safety regulations.
· Managing restaurant staff's work schedules.
· Monitoring inventory and ensuring that all food supplies and other restaurant essentials are adequately ordered and stocked.
· Prepare food order summaries and ensure quality control.
· Reacts immediately to issues requiring attention during shift.
· Provides ongoing, specific direction and coaching to team members.
· Trains, orients, and monitors new team members, using the Positional Training System.
· Responds to guests in a friendly manner and resolve customer complaints in professional manner.
· Responsible for shift and day end cash procedures and reconciliation.
· Ensures all restaurants' policies and procedures are followed during the shift (e.g., Cash Handling Policies, Meal and Break Policies and food safety policies).
· Completes all required shift documentation (e.g., record of stock, sales, wastage & repair).
· Reports to the Restaurant Manager regarding team member performance.
