Role overview

What you'll do

  • Run the Model Office environment by monitoring availability and taking a comprehensive view of system health.
  • Improve reliability quality and timetomarket of our suite of software solutions.
  • Measure and optimize system performance with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward getting ahead of customer needs and innovating for continual improvement.
  • Partner with development teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures.
  • Participate in system design consulting platform management and capacity planning.
  • Create sustainable systems and services through automation.
  • Balance feature development speed and reliability with welldefined servicelevel objective

What you bring to the role

  • Proven experience (8+ years) supporting and administering the Ab-Initio ETL platform, including troubleshooting and escalation to vendors.
  • Familiarity with Unix, Windows, and Linux server environments.
  • Demonstrated success in measuring and optimizing system performance.
  • Ability to balance feature development speed and reliability with welldefined servicelevel objectives.
  • Availability to work on weekends to ensure the continued health of the Ab-Initio platform.

Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Toronto.
