**Role overview**

**What you’ll do**
- Run the Model Office environment by monitoring availability and taking a comprehensive view of system health.
- Improve reliability quality and time-to-market of our suite of software solutions.
- Measure and optimize system performance with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward getting ahead of customer needs and innovating for continual improvement.
- Partner with development teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures.
- Participate in system design consulting platform management and capacity planning.
- Create sustainable systems and services through automation.
- Balance feature development speed and reliability with well-defined service-level objective

**What you bring to the role**
- Proven experience (8+ years) supporting and administering the Ab-Initio ETL platform, including troubleshooting and escalation to vendors.
- Familiarity with Unix, Windows, and Linux server environments.
- Demonstrated success in measuring and optimizing system performance.
- Ability to balance feature development speed and reliability with well-defined service-level objectives.
- Availability to work on weekends to ensure the continued health of the Ab-Initio platform.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Toronto.
