Job Description:
beBee Professionals is looking for an experienced AML Compliance Specialist to join our team in Edmonton, AB. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing anti-money laundering (AML) compliance programs, policies, and procedures.
The AML Compliance Specialist will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing customer transactions, identifying suspicious activity, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for conducting periodic reviews of customer accounts, preparing reports, and providing guidance and training to staff.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in AML compliance
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
