Coordinator, Plant Operations

THE COMPANY

Basic Grain Products Inc., is an established snack food manufacturer located in Coldwater, Ohio, with over 40 years of experience and excellence.


This is a full-time position and is ideal for an individual who is enthusiastic about manufacturing, is a multi-tasker and can work collaboratively across departments.

Our office is easily accessible via public transit, just a comfortable walk from the Production Way Skytrain Station.

THE POSITION

Minimum Qualifications:

  • College Graduate or University degree preferably in engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment ideally in the food industry.
  • Experience in CMMS and ERP systems preferred.

Required Skills:

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • High IQ with good analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to details and thoroughness.
  • Willing to step outside of core duties and responsibilities to address needs as they arise.

Job duties include but not limited to:

  • Assisting the general manager in monitoring and coordinating plant operations.
  • Ensuring regular maintenance tasks, PM programs and special projects are completed competently and on a timely basis.
  • Recommending, implementing and managing solutions towards continually improving plant operations.
  • Ensuring company's policies, programs, procedures, and practices are properly and consistently implemented.
  • Assuming other duties as assigned.
