Graduate Development Program is designed to prepare early career professionals for future leadership roles within our organization, guiding you in your career and increasing your business awareness and talents. The program will provide opportunities for you to explore a broad range of disciplines across all our functional areas and locations to work on various projects and expand your knowledge and network.

  • Phoenix Contact Canada's GDP is designed to help you. You will have the unique opportunity to learn the business and experience fullcycle activities and projects as you rotate through each company area.
  • To be successful as a graduate trainee, you should be willing to learn about aspects of the company that lie outside of your department. An outstanding graduate trainee should foster good relationships with staff members and leave a lasting imprint.

The program will start in May 2023, and it is a full-time position based in Milton, ON

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform tasks related to specific function or assigned department (Supply Chain, Customer Care, Finance, Human Resources &/or Marketing and Communication)
  • Participate in meetings, workshops, or any related initiatives
  • Work on projects offering insights
  • Understand the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customers, product, and all other aspects of service
  • Rotate through our divisions of responsibility and provide ideas to grow and improve the business
  • Provide suggestions to management for improving internal processes
  • Learn and become proficient on internal software systems
  • Be an active member in committees

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • To be considered for this program you need:
  • to be a recent graduate (new graduate or within the previous year)
- have a commercial background: graduate from a business discipline such as business administration / marketing / finance / HR / supply chain / commerce or similar
- to be open to new challenges and experiences

  • Curious nature and eager to learn
- an entrepreneurial outlook
