Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and menu specifications
  • Ensure all food is cooked to the highest standards of quality and presentation
  • Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment
  • Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation
  • Assist in maintaining inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed
  • Monitor food stock and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to the management team
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations

Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Cook in the food industry or restaurant setting
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
  • Excellent understanding of food safety practices
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Skills:

  • Cooking skills: Proficient in various cooking techniques, including grilling, sautéing, baking, etc.
  • Food preparation: Knowledgeable in prepping ingredients, such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, etc.
  • Food handling: Familiarity with proper handling of raw ingredients and cooked food to prevent crosscontamination
  • Food service: Ability to work efficiently in a restaurant or food service setting
  • Kitchen organization: Strong organizational skills to ensure smooth operations in a busy kitchen

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay:
$20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34 per week
