Fresh Start Foods is currently hiring a full-time Forklift Operator who is eager to work in a fast-paced team-oriented work environment in our Richmond, BC location.

Shifts Available
Day Shift: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

  • Employment Type: Fulltime
  • Hours of Operation: Monday to Friday, Must be able to work on Sundays and Holidays as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Frequently operate a forklift, pallet jack, hand jack, and other equipment to load, unload transport, and store goods.
  • Lift boxes up to 50 lbs onto pallets or machines.
  • Assemble packages as per the client's order.
  • Coordinate with Production Lead Hands on transferring raw materials from warehouse to production.
  • Must be able to fill traceability and report RM quality
  • Remove waste from the production area as required.
  • Work with team members to ensure an efficient production flow.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the assigned warehouse and production area.
Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Forklift certification (Battery and Propane) is an asset (Training can be provided).
  • Previous Warehouse experience in the Food Industry is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced, cold, and wet environment.
  • Ability to frequently lift, push & pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent bending/stopping. Occasionally required to squat/kneel/rotate/twist/balance.
  • Self Motivated and have the desire to improve continuously.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Culturally adaptable to work in a diverse workforce.
  • Ability to speak and read basic English.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Accountable and dependable.
