We are currently looking for someone to join our Deer Creek Banquet Facility as a Beverage Cart Server who holds themselves to superior standards regarding customer service, guest experience and providing exceptional quality of service.

Job Requirements

  • Superior customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Schedule:
Must be able to work a variety of shifts (early morning, afternoon or evenings).

Must be able to work all holidays

Must be available to work to the end of season (typically end of November)

Responsibilities:

  • Offers exceptional service to all guests and has outgoing, positive attitude. Assisting our guests in receiving all food and beverage requirements they have ordered through our beverage cart, restaurant, and/or event facilities
  • Prepare beverages in accordance with provincial liquor laws and Glen Cedars procedures
  • Be knowledgeable of all beverage items in order to make recommendations
  • Helps to service/maintain of all aspects of food and beverage operations in accordance to our standards, procedures and guidelines.
  • Promotes teamwork by assisting fellow workers
  • Provide exceptional guest experience to all external and internal clients at all times
  • Adhere to all employment policies and procedures as laid out in the golf course employment handbook
  • Follow health and safety policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager/Supervisor

Requirements:

  • 1 year serving experience needed
  • Smart Serve Certified
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs in a fast pace environment while remaining calm and courteous at all times
  • Excellent people and communication skills.
  • Must be able to bend, climb stairs and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds.
  • Must be a team orientated individual with good interactive skill, dependable, honest and reliable.
  • Ability to follow and take direction from Manager/Supervisor
