Seeking someone with experience but willing to train the right entry-level candidate. About the Role, Benefits & Perks:
  • Full Time, year-round.
  • Schedule is flexible; office is open Monday to Friday: work either 4 or 5 days per week.
  • Experienced Advisors salary starting at $53,000 to $70,000+ per year based on experience, plus bonuses.
  • Entry-level trainees salary starting at $50,000+ per year based on experience plus bonuses.
  • Lots of career advancement and professional development opportunities within the insurance industry.
  • Extended health & benefits package available.
The Perfect Candidate:
  • Minimum one year of sales and service experience within the insurance industry is preferred.
  • Willing to train the right motivated entry-level candidate.
  • General Insurance License is required or must be obtained within 2 months of being hired.
  • Meet all provincial-licensing requirements in accordance with continuing education in order to obtain & maintain all licenses.
  • Must complete a Criminal Record and Consumer History background check prior to employment.
  • Focused and optimistic with great customer service skills and time management.
  • Committed to continuous improvement and building productive client relationships in order to exceed client expectations.
  • Team player who takes initiative and provides guidance to support the development of peers.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Sales, service and profitable growth of personal lines insurance products.
  • Advise and recommend coverages and policies that best meet client needs.
  • Prospect and cross sell by identifying and recommending additional products/services that benefit the client.
  • Complete front-line risk assessment and selection following underwriting guidelines.
  • Achieve individual goals for client service, sales, quality and productivity.
