Job Summary:


We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Production Support Specialist with a minimum of 6 years of experience to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in production support with on-call rotation, IMS, DB2 COBOL modules, and JCLs.

You will be responsible for solving production job failures, implementing medium to major projects, and writing SAS and FOCUS jobs for reporting and data fixes.

Additional knowledge in PEM, REXX, and DevOps tools will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Support:

  • Provide ongoing support for mainframe production environments.
  • Participate in oncall rotations to manage and resolve incidents promptly.

JCL, SORT, and ICETOOL:

  • Write and maintain Job Control Language (JCL) scripts.
  • Use SORT and ICETOOL utilities to manage data processing tasks.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in mainframe systems.
  • Proven experience in production support with oncall rotation.
  • Strong working knowledge of IMS and DB2 COBOL modules.
  • Proficiency in writing JCLs, SORT, and ICETOOL scripts.
  • Experience in solving production job failures and implementing projects.
  • Ability to write SAS and FOCUS jobs for reporting and data fixes.
  • Knowledge in creating and managing VSAM datasets and data operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with PEM (Process Execution Management).
  • Experience with REXX (Restructured Extended Executor) scripting.
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools and methodologies.
