**Tâches**:
Encadrer une équipe de traducteurs et de traductrices, leur fournir conseil, coordonner leur travail et participer à la répartition des textes.
En tant que chef d'équipe, gérer des projets complexes ou volumineux et agir comme expert-conseil auprès des membres de l'équipe et des clients.
À l'occasion, gérer des équipes spéciales constituées pour s'occuper de projets particuliers de grande envergure.
Contrôler la qualité des textes traduits à l'interne et à l'externe et les réviser au besoin conformément aux normes du Bureau de la traduction, afin de fournir le meilleur produit possible et de satisfaire les clients.
Vérifier que le produit livré par le fournisseur répond aux modalités du contrat afin de recommander ou non au gestionnaire le paiement des honoraires.
Superviser la fonction recherche terminologique au sein de l'équipe et vérifier la qualité du travail afin de contribuer à l'enrichissement des bases terminologiques et de garantir un meilleur produit aux clients.
Fournir des services d'expert-conseil aux clients concernant tous les aspects de la relation d'affaire avec eux.
Fournir une traduction définitive de très grande qualité des textes les plus urgents, les plus complexes ou les plus importants.

Fondé en 1934, le Bureau de la traduction est un organisme de service spécial de Services publics et Approvisionnement Canada (SPAC) qui appuie le gouvernement du Canada dans ses efforts pour communiquer avec les Canadiens et les servir dans les deux langues officielles, les langues autochtones et les langues étrangères, ainsi qu'en langues des signes.
Le Bureau de la traduction offre des conseils linguistiques et des services de traduction, de révision, de mise en page, de terminologie, de sous-titrage codé et d'interprétation aux ministères et organismes fédéraux, ainsi qu'au Parlement. En outre, il fournit à la population canadienne une vaste gamme d'outils et de ressources en ligne sur le Portail linguistique du Canada.
Le Bureau de la traduction est le centre d'excellence en matière de services linguistiques au gouvernement du Canada. Il exerce un rôle de premier plan dans divers domaines d'activité du gouvernement fédéral et, grâce à sa culture d'innovation, il se distingue de plus en plus au sein de l'industrie canadienne des services langagiers comme un chef de file en technologies langagières.
- Les postes à la Direction de la traduction parlementaire sont basés dans la région de la capitale nationale (Ottawa). Toutefois, le télétravail de partout au Canada est possible, sous certaines conditions.
