# WeAre WSP
What you can expect to do here:
Design, model and coordinate the various mechanical systems including HVAC ventilation and hydronics, controls, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection.
Our designers are involved with every stage of a project right from design development, through to the end of construction.
- Undertake design calculations
- Prepare design packages for plumbing, HVAC and fire protection systems in buildings retrofit or new projects
- Work in a multi-disciplinary team with close liaison with the mechanical trade contractor in a collaborative design assist environment
- Be responsible for the preparation of drawings for construction design packages
- Complete engineering studies and assessments with accompanying reports
What you'll bring to WSP:
- Professional Engineer licensed in Ontario at a minimum
- 5+ years of experience in the design of plumbing, HVAC, and fire protection systems
- Well versed and familiar with applicable codes and standards including, but not limited to, the Ontario Building Code, ASHRAE, NFPA, CSA
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD MEP and Revit MEP
- Good working knowledge of MS Office and Excel
- Self-motivated with strong verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills
- A "can do" attitude, able to work independently and in a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Ability to adapt to fluctuating workloads and expedited timelines
- Ability to manage multiple projects
