The Ottawa Senators are seeking a talented and motivated Video Producer with a passion for storytelling, fast-paced environments and high-quality productions.

This role will be part of a dynamic team that is responsible for creating compelling video content utilized for Sens social media channels, , commercial broadcasts, and the In-game show at all Ottawa Senators home games.

This person should have strong knowledge of video production and technical skills including, cinematic shooting, editing, motion graphics design with a focus on storytelling.

The video producer will work as a part of the Digital content Department while collaborating with the Creative, Communications and Game Presentation departments.


Reports to:
Director, Digital and Social Media
Producing, directing and filming video shoots
Brainstorming and ideating creative video content
Editing video content for social media, in-arena broadcast and ottawasenators.
Archive Senators video library – responsible for the organization and safety of all digital historical video content
Assist in the maintenance of the audio and video equipment as well as recommend upgrades as required
Minimum of 3 years' experience of video content production in a professional environment, including experience filming live events.
Ability to create captivating storytelling through video.
Ability to produce multiple projects from inception to completion in a fast-paced environment. High level of knowledge of professional video cameras and a variety of lighting techniques
Constantly develop skills and explore new creative techniques and trends
Bilingual (English & French) is an asset but not required.
Available to travel with the team (valid Canadian passport) and work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Strong knowledge of hockey and the overall social media landscape is an asset.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
