Position Summary


This position is responsible for all aspects of parts sales/shipping receiving and maintaining inventory in Red Deer and Stettler branches.


Principal Responsibilities and Duties

  • Represents the company in a professional manner at all times.
  • Drives company vehicle and or forklift to transport stored items from warehouse to shop or customers as needed, as well as pick up items from vendors.
  • Processes requisitions, work orders and shipping orders. Issues material to end users utilizing the systems as defined by the company.
  • Compares identifying information, counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
  • Maintains inventory accuracy by issuing inventory to all order types in a timely manner.
  • Sorts and places materials/items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined partnumber sequence. Marks material with identifying information.
  • Fills requisitions, work orders, purchase orders or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items.
  • Uses computer and current inventory program (SAP) to enter records.
  • Determines best method of shipping parts to customer.
  • Takes an active part in cycle counting and inventory processes for the Branch Office.
  • Complies with all ALCO HR, Quality, HSE, and other company policies, procedures, processes, work instructions and guidelines.
  • Participates in after hours, weekend, holiday and on call rotation as required. Overtime may be required on occasion.

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • On call
  • Overtime
  • Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:
