Position Overview:


Karen Logan-Hartle Insurance Agency Inc., is looking for a new enthusiastic full-time team member with lots of energy, who is comfortable with office work and dealing with clients and sales.

For over 37 years, we have been an established insurance office, located in Collingwood, Ontario.

Our office helps customers with their Property and Casualty Insurance, along with Financial Service needs, including Home Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement Planning, Business Insurance and Renters Insurance.


Responsibilities:

  • Good Personal Credit Score (Necessary for the Government Insurance Licensing Sponsorship).
  • Property & Casualty and Life Insurance Sales and Support.
  • Establish customer relationships and followup with customers as needed.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service which can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverage, policy changes, transfers, claim guidance, and billing clarifications.
  • Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, provide accurate quotes and market appropriate products and services for property & Casualty and Life Insurance prospects.
  • Continuous learning to keep uptodate in the ever changing Insurance Industry.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Property and Casualty license
    (have or must be able to obtain;
    ALL TRAINING AND LICENSING EXPENSES WILL BE PAID FOR BY US):

  • Life license is a valued asset, but not necessary:
  • Sales Experience will be a valued asset
  • Able to multitask effectively/Detail oriented with good organizational skills
  • Comfortable on the phone with a warm and pleasant telephone manner
  • Friendly, positive, optimistic and upbeat attitude/Confident, approachable and outgoing
  • Excellent communication skills, good conversationalist
  • An attentive, empathic listener able to understand and share the feelings of others
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-Motivated and Proactive in problem solving
  • Able to learn computer functions/Proficient in Microsoft Office-Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Pride in getting work done accurately and timely
  • Sociable and social media savvy
