What this role is all about:
Beem Credit Union is seeking individuals eager to build a career in financial services to join us as Money Advisors. This role offers ample growth opportunities and knowledge to kickstart your professional journey in financial services and empower you to excel. As a Money Advisor, you represent Beem Credit Union and play a central role in the member experience. With an entrepreneurial mindset, personal drive, and initiative, you excel in finding the best solutions for customers by balancing sales and exceptional customer service.
This position will be located at our beautiful West End Branch in Vancouver, a cosmopolitan city known for its stunning scenery, cultural diversity, and vibrant arts scene.
What you'll do:
- Build relationships with credit union members, open new accounts, and maintain positive relationships with existing members.
- Provide full-cycle account services, including processing banking transactions, identifying and processing deposits, investments, and loans, and resolving account issues.
- Proactively engage with members to identify needs, explore business opportunities, and enhance members' relationships with Beem Credit Union.
- Collaborate with branches and departments, provide referrals to product specialists, and ensure a superior member experience.
- Develop and nurture a professional network within the branch and local community, representing Beem Credit Union positively.

- Years of experience in a sales and service-oriented role.
- Excellent customer service and strong relationship-building skills.
- Entrepreneurial and collaborative spirit.
- Self-driven in advancing your career and personal growth.
- Degree or diploma in Business or Finance preferred; basic understanding of retail banking principles is beneficial.
