Jardeg is seeking an Electrician Journeyperson to join our team at Bonnyville Fabrication Shop. This is a long-term full-time position with a rotation of 4 days on and 3 days off.

The Bonnyville Fabrication Shop specializes in fabricating and installing process piping, structural steel, and skid packages for the oil and gas industry in Alberta. With over four decades of experience, our team in Bonnyville has been delivering specialized materials and technical support for industrial construction needs. We take pride in our community involvement and support local organizations to enhance community life.

Experience in fabrication and assembly shops is advantageous.

Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and electrical codes related to electrical equipment layout.
  • Test, examine, and install electrical components, wiring, receptacles, switches, and other controls.
  • Work on cutting, threading, bending, assembling, and installing conduits and conductors.
  • Experience in Fabrication shop and Assembly.

Requirements:

  • Journeyperson Certification is mandatory.
  • Construction Safety Training Systems - 20 (CSTS-20) Certification is required.
  • WHMIS 2015 Certification.
  • ESC Fall Protection Training.
  • ESC Aerial Work Platforms Training.
  • First Aid Certification.
  • ESC H2S Alive Training.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean 3-year driving record.
