Randstad Staffing is currently looking for an experienced Senior Internal Auditor to join a well reputable company in the North-West of Winnipeg.

The successful candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of experience doing external audits at a firm as well as internal audit experience at a publicly traded company.

Responsibilities

  • Working with the Director of Internal Audit to develop and implement compliance programs
  • Conducting operational, financial, and IT audits
  • Working closely with the internal audit management team as well as external auditors
  • Analyzing internal processes and financial reporting risk assessment
  • Supporting the internal control structure
  • Develop solutions that address issues identified in audits
  • Preparing and reviewing work papers, audit reports, and other related documentation
Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of auditing experience
  • University degree in business and a recognized professional accounting designation (CPA, CIA or CISA)
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to take initiative and be a selfstarter
  • Good analytical thinking and problemsolving abilities
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Must be able to pass a very thorough background check
