We are looking for an Operations Supervisor for our Hamilton, Ontario facility.


As a leader on our operations team, you will oversee operational needs by providing effective management of a diverse group of employees.

You will be responsible for all areas of operations oversight, including but not limited to productivity, customer service, scheduling, training and development, health and safety, employee relations and troubleshooting.

As a member of the Hamilton Leadership team, you will:

  • Oversee the daily needs of the operations through the motivation and engagement of a team of employees who are driven to deliver
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of Brink's solutions, including connecting with customers to ensure a high level of service
  • Provide coaching and guidance to employees, including participation in the grievance management process
  • Utilize multiple systems to manage, direct and lead employees through their daily activities
  • Ensure all company policies and procedures are adhered to, particularly in ensuring the Health and Safety of all employees
  • Leverage your interpersonal skills to develop productive relationships with both your internal team as well as clients
  • Promote a positive, respectful work environment, with focus on employee relations and diversity
  • Supervise branch operations with an emphasis on team leadership and process improvement
  • Implement and enforce company policies and operating procedures

Qualifications:

  • You have previous management experience within transportation, cash logistics, a unionized environment, the armoured car industry or similar environment
  • You have excellent communication and organizational skills
  • A good analytical proficiency with a strong customer focus and orientation
  • You can manage conflicts directly, cooperatively and with attention to detail
  • You have proven leadership abilities and can make accurate & logical decisions
  • You are selfmotivated and resourceful with the ability to motivate others
  • You are comfortable with various Microsoft Office Applications.
  • A valid Driver's License and Possession and Acquisition License ("PAL") for both Restricted and nonRestricted, or the ability to obtain one within six months of taking this position
