Adecco is in search of a full-time Environmental/Regulatory Manager to join a leading petroleum refinery in Calgary, AB. Your main role will involve supervising the establishment and execution of environmental standards, guidelines, and engineering practices within the company's assets. This position provides a unique opportunity to shape environmental strategies and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.

Location: Calgary, AB

Shifts: 5 days on / 2 days off

Job type: Full-time | Contract

Responsibilities:
  • Lead safety activities for Projects
  • Support safety groups and Projects
  • Manage safety resources for Projects
  • Implement safety management system
  • Enhance environmental performance
  • Promote best practices in environmental protection
Requirements:


• Bachelor's degree in Science or equivalent

• Experience in Oil & Gas project construction

• Safety management experience in the Oil industry

• Knowledge of incident reporting and investigation processes

• Familiarity with safety standards and practices

• Strong team collaboration skills

• Proficiency in safety management

• Excellent influencing abilities for safety improvement

• Legal authorization to work in Canada


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in remediation and reclamation sites
  • Background in environmental assessment planning
  • Relevant safety certifications
