As Senior Investment Products Advisor, you collect and analyze key financial information (returns, risk measures, fund strategy and composition, methodology for exchange-traded funds composition, and firm history) on exchange-traded funds and mutual funds. You also serve as a resource person for investment advisors. More specifically, you will be required to :

Publish research reports on major industry trends for investment products Collect financial data on exchange-traded funds and mutual funds by consulting reports on these funds, databases, external providers and financial periodicals, as well as any other publications and reports Analyze the financial information collected on these funds, including returns, risk measures, composition and concentration, the methodology used to build portfolios and data related to the issuing firm (structure, history, financial stability, etc.) and produce reports periodically based on various analytical factors Analyze new investment products, specifically exchange-traded funds and mutual funds (alternative strategies distributed by offering memorandum), evaluate new investment product providers and report the results to the New Product Evaluation Committee (NPEC) Liaise with external exchange-traded funds and mutual funds providers to help share information with investment advisors and answer their questions Monitor the exchange-traded fund and mutual fund sectors and keep abreast of new products Attend lectures on exchange-traded funds Develop alternative product offers by identifying the best products that meet the network's needs Monitor the exchange-traded fund, mutual fund and alternative fund sectors (including cryptocurrency) regularly for new products, regulatory changes, market trends, changes in network needs, industry business practices, etc. Participate in the due diligence of new products, attend fund manager calls and analyze products to ensure they meet the firm's approval requirements Analyze portfolios and recommend exchange-traded funds or mutual funds to advisors based on their needs or those of their clients

What you bring to the table

Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration or a related field A minimum of eight years of relevant experience Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered Experience writing content Professional certification such as CFA or CAIA, or any other specialization in finance Knowledge of French is required Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients Knowledge of full-service brokerage Expertise with investment products (ETFs, mutual funds, alternative strategies) Communicates effectively, Complexity, Interpersonal Savvy, Strategic mindset
