We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Crew Lead to oversee a team of 3-4 dedicated individuals in the installation of erosion and sediment control measures for 2023.

Responsibilities:
As the Crew Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful installation and implementation of erosion and sediment control measures at various project sites.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Leadership:
Supervise and lead a crew of 3-4 team members, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and high-quality work.
Project Management:
Collaborate with project managers to plan, schedule, and coordinate erosion and sediment control installations, ensuring adherence to deadlines and project specifications.
Site Assessment:
Conduct thorough site assessments to identify erosion and sediment control needs, taking into account local regulations and environmental factors.
Installation:
Oversee the proper installation of erosion and sediment control measures, including silt fences, sediment basins, erosion blankets, and other appropriate techniques.
Equipment and Materials:
Ensure that crew members have the necessary equipment, tools, and materials to carry out their tasks safely and effectively.
Safety Compliance:
Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for the crew and project site personnel.
Quality Control:
Conduct regular inspections of installed control measures to verify compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
Reporting:
Prepare and submit project progress reports, including any challenges, achievements, and necessary adjustments to the project manager.
Client Relations:
Maintain positive relationships with clients and project stakeholders, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in erosion and sediment control installation or a related field.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with previous experience leading small teams.
- Strong understanding of erosion and sediment control principles, regulations, and best practices.
- Familiarity with construction site management and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with crew members, clients, and project managers.
- Physical fitness and stamina to work in various weather conditions and handle manual labor.
- Relevant certifications or training in erosion and sediment control is a plus.
