Supporting multiple Canadian Specialty Operations Branches:

  • Coach team members to understand their safety responsibilities and enhance performance.
  • Foster and maintain positive client and Clean Harbors operational relationships.
  • Boots on the ground, in the field in all weather conditions 50% in the field.
  • Audit performance and compliance with Health & Safety policies, programs, and procedures.
  • Work with Leaders, conduct incident investigations.
  • Work with Leaders support safety meetings on topics designed to promote a better understanding of Clean Harbors Health & Safety policies, programs, procedures, or general Health & Safety.
  • Conduct health and safety site inspections and audits to assure compliance with Corporate Health & Safety policies, programs, procedures and guidelines, and proper work practices needed to maintain safe operations.
  • Minimum of 5+ years Health and Safety experience within an industrial setting
  • NCSO designation required.
  • CRSP designation preferred.
  • OH&S Diploma, certification is an asset.
  • Class 5 driver's license is required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel throughout Alberta and at times, other locations across Canada to support projects, turnarounds, and outages.
