What can I expect to do in this role?: In this role, you will:

  • Lead, manage and coordinate multiple complex strategic projects/programs for the OFA; analyze, design and develop practical solutions to business requirements by planning strategies and change management initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor and direct staff to participate in complex and strategic projects and manage other resources.
  • Develop and coordinate project plans/activities and meet stringent timelines by providing input/direction/recommendations and seeking approvals for strategic project planning activities, communication and overall change management strategies, system implementation design concepts, changes to business rules, project plan tasks/deliverables and milestones.
  • Participate in the review of OFAwide business requirements, processes, procedures and programs ensuring quality in the development of project, business and human resources in order to meet OFAwide commitments.
  • Participate in the annual project prioritization and report on project status quarterly.

How do I qualify?:

Project Management Skills and Experience:

  • You have knowledge of and experience with project management methodologies, principles and practices to plan and manage multiple strategic projects.
  • You have experience providing project direction on the development of technical and project requirements and managing all aspects of project planning, implementation, reporting and evaluation.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:

  • You have proven analytical, conceptual and problemsolving skills to identify and advise on IT and business issues.
  • You can lead business process analysis to support project delivery.
  • You can conduct research, assess information, identify best practices and make recommendations.

Leadership and Change Management Skills:

  • You can provide advice, input and recommendations on change initiatives, strategies and plans to senior management.
  • You can provide leadership and engage team members in a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting innovation and creativity.

Relationship Management and Facilitation Skills:

  • You can lead consultations with stakeholders ensuring that the individual project and related technical requirements are defined and incorporated at all stages.
  • You have expertise in creating and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
  • You can work collaboratively to resolve issues, negotiate changes and shifts in priorities.

Communication Skills:

  • You can create, lead and present briefings on complex issues analysis to senior management.
