Responsibilities:


Provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs, including those with learning disabilities, developmental delays, or other challenges.


Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other professionals to create individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.

Implement evidence-based teaching strategies and interventions to support student learning and growth.

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the spiritual, academic, and social development of all students.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, assessments, and interventions.

Qualifications:
British Columbia Teaching Certification.

Approval by CISVA Superintendent's Office

Special Education specialization or equivalent experience in supporting students with diverse learning needs.

Familiarity with Catholic teachings and a commitment to integrating faith into the learning environment.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
