Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MRI Technologist) Job Description

Our expanding clinics are seeking a skilled and registered, or eligible for registration casual Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MRI Technologist) to join our outpatient clinic. Registration must be with the CAMRT & ACMDTT.

As a casual Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MRI Technologist) , your role involves conducting diagnostic imaging procedures using modern equipment while ensuring patient comfort and safety. You'll explain procedures, position patients correctly, and optimize imaging quality through equipment adjustments. Working closely with healthcare professionals, you'll analyze images meticulously, maintain patient records, and procedural documentation.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Perform radiological imaging examinations on patients for disease and pathology diagnosis, producing high-quality diagnostic images
  • Prepare patients for procedures, position them correctly
  • Adjust medical radiology equipment for high-quality images, assist with equipment care
  • Follow safety protocols for patient and staff exposure
  • Collaborate with professionals to analyze and interpret images
  • Maintain accurate patient records and procedural documentation

What We're Looking For

  • Completion of an accredited Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) program
  • Active membership with CAMRT and ACMDTT
  • Venipuncture Certification and Intravenous Therapy Certificate
  • Provide quality diagnostic images and patient care
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Commitment to learning and excellence
  • Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of patient information
  • Dedication to health and safety in procedures and equipment operation
