Advance is Fraser Health's largest multi-year program which seeks to improve the way Fraser Health delivers care and the way patients experience care for better outcomes. The project focuses on re-imagining the clinical workflows, enabled by the new Meditech Expanse platform and will impact over 30,000 staff and clinicians.

The Advance program is looking for an experienced Integration Specialist to design and deliver cutting-edge integration solutions that enable digital transformation.

This specialist will bring deep technical skills, healthcare integration experience, and strategic business partnership capabilities. They will design and build robust integrations leveraging leading technologies to connect disparate systems and data sources seamlessly.

Duties may include:

  • Research emerging integration technologies and make recommendations on adoption strategies. Stay uptodate on industry trends.
  • Design, build, and maintain reliable integration flows that move data seamlessly between systems. Ensure high quality data integrity.
  • Develop reusable integration components, services, APIs, and orchestration processes. Promote integration best practices.
  • Work with stakeholders and translate business needs into technical requirements. Align integrations with business goals.
  • Clearly communicate technical concepts and proposals to senior leadership and key business partners.
  • Create business cases, cost justifications, and risk assessments for integration initiatives and technology investments.
  • Collaborate with vendor and IT teams to evaluate solutions and drive strategic roadmap decisions.
  • Leverage cloud integration platforms and technologies to build adaptable and scalable interfaces.
  • Ensure compliance with security, regulatory and data privacy requirements.
  • Analyzing how technology enables business goals and strategy

To join our team, we will look for you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Information Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related study or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Seven (7) years of related experience in a large complex organization including at least three (3) years' experience as a Project Manager.
  • Experience with health and corporate information systems.
  • Experience developing and enhancing electronic health records
  • Experience with working in a clinical multidisciplinary environment involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
