Responsibilities:

  • Perform various construction and renovation tasks
  • Adding fittings and fixtures including door handles, hinges, locks, and closures
  • Install and repair siding on residential and commercial buildings
  • Build window frames, doors, staircases and frame buildings by using raw materials or preconstructed items
  • Carve and assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves and other items and install them where designated
  • Conduct general maintenance person repairs and maintenance as needed
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a
or similar role in the construction industry

  • Proficiency in using power tools and other equipment necessary for the job
  • Strong knowledge of construction techniques and materials
  • Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of construction estimating is a plus
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
