Lead Bartender

This role requires availability for scheduling from Tuesday to Saturday, and ability to work 4-5 shifts per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in training of new bar staff
  • Act as a leader for bartenders and front of house staff working at The Bar at Alo
  • Oversee inventory management and ordering of bar supplies
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
  • Develop and implement signature cocktails, regularly updating the bar offerings
  • Ensure beverage offerings fall within costing guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
  • Working dinner service behind the wood, ensuring timely creation of cocktails for the Bar at Alo as well as the dining room at Alo.
  • Work collaboratively with the dining room team to ensure all guests have an exceptional experience.
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience:

  • Proven experience in bartending and restaurant management
  • Strong knowledge of food, particularly luxury items
  • Passion for all things beverage, including confidence in wine knowledge
  • Ability to supervise and lead a team effectively

Please note that Alo restaurant operates with a tip pool.
