Job Information

The Finance and Administration Officer, under the supervision of the Comptroller, is accountable for managing and overseeing the everyday financial, accounting, and payroll operations at the DDEC central office.

This role requires working autonomously and overseeing specific tasks on a daily basis.

The Officer is in charge of upholding internal controls at the Division office, keeping track of financial reports, and managing processes for DDEC, schools, and DEAs.

  • **Payroll Knowledge:** systems, deductions, remittances

This expertise is commonly acquired through education in an accounting program at the professional or university level. Additionally, a minimum of one year of experience in an intermediate role is required to meet the qualifications. The candidate must also be bonded or eligible for bond application.
