The Shield Foundation Repair team is a passionate group of people with a mission of building a world class customer and employee experience.

Building a fast-growing company requires outstanding talent and for this reason, we are searching for a Sales Estimator as part of our growing team.

Reporting to the CEO, the Sales Estimator is responsible for expanding Shield Foundation Repair's Brand and overall business development.

Success in this role means that you will not be stuck to your desk and office but actively pursuing new leads and prospects in the market business while nurturing existing clients through the completion of their projects.

Being the right person for the job, means you are ready to demonstrate that you can successfully accomplish the following in your new role:

  • Achieving monthly lead quotas to meet company sales targets. This includes building new business acquaintances for example, Engineers, Home Builders, Restoration Companies, Property Managers, etc.
  • Building and coordinating all major components of the sales estimate that meets the company's administrative, technical and time commitment standards.
  • Ensuring client interactions are always documented in the company CRM.
  • Partnering closely with the Field operations team through the life of the project ensuring clients are continuously kept up to date as to the status of their project.
  • Responsible for receiving all payments from clients in a timely manner to ensure company cash flow is not impacted negatively.
Finally, please make sure you have the following experience, skills, and qualifications to ensure success in the role:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Building, Construction Management.
  • Five (5) years Estimating experience in residential and or commercial construction.
  • Five (5) years outside sales experience in residential and or commercial construction with demonstrated sales and business development success.
  • Ability to navigate specifications and plans.
  • Proficiency in presenting proposals and projects.
  • Knowledge of the latest building codes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)

Experience:

  • Outside sales: 5 years (required)
  • Construction estimating: 5 years (required)
- navigating specifications and plans: 2 years (preferred)

  • Using building codes: 2 years (preferred)

Language:

  • English fluently (required)
