Administrative Assistant/Receptionist.

Step Up is a team of multidisciplinary healthcare professionals who are focused on rehabilitative, evidence-based, and holistic medicine.

Our goal is to provide integrated care through chiropractic, physiotherapy, acupuncture, naturopathic medicine, massage therapy, chiropody, manual osteopathy, psychotherapy, social work, and athletic therapy.

Step Up Massage & Rehab is searching for a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual. As a valuable member of the team, you will assist our day-to-day operations and facilitate an excellent guest experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and checkin patients upon arrival; ensure each visit runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible
  • Handle guest inquires and be knowledgeable on the services, products, and pricing
  • Process payments and submit insurance claims (online), as well as followups when required
  • Run reports, troubleshoot network issues
  • Perform laundry service and light maintenance of reception area, staff lounge, and treatment rooms
  • Set up therapy rooms and keep them fully stocked; make timely requests for replenishment when needed
  • Open and close the facility

Requirements:

  • Have a friendly personality that can build and maintain relationships with staff and patients
  • Have exceptional communication skills and emotional intelligence to handle various situations at the front desk
  • Be able to maintain professional and calm under pressure; be adept at multitasking and has good time management skills
  • Be reliable, organized, and resourceful
