Edge Transportation Services Ltd., a member of Siemens Transportation Group Inc., has an immediate opening for a Regional Deck Driver in Winnipeg, MB.

This position is full time.

Monday to Friday, 6:00am Departure.

City/Highway Deck Work with Drayage work as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Pickup and deliver freight in a safe and efficient manner
  • Scheduled trips and other duties/trips as required
  • Handle freight and freight documents
  • Adhere to all safety and traffic laws
  • Perform pretrip, posttrip inspections and preventative maintenance checks
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Perform all other duties as requested
  • DUTIES WILL VARY TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE OPERATION

Qualifications:

  • Class 1A license
  • Flat Deck experience is considered an asset
  • Intermodal and container experience is considered an asset
  • Experience and knowledge of load securement procedures is a strong asset
  • Knowledge of city delivery routes
  • Safe driving record verified by a current drivers abstract
  • Ability to perform all required duties without restriction
