WPG - Class 1 Deck Driver - (Harris) - Transportation Professional

Job Summary:
The Flat Deck Driver is a critical role within our transportation network, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods across Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a Class 1 vehicle with airbrake endorsement to transport various types of freight, including flat deck trailers.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload freight, using equipment such as dollies and chains, and secure cargo to prevent damage or loss.
- Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle maintenance, as required.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 Driver's license with airbrake endorsement in good standing.
- At least 1 year of experience as a professional driver, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
- B-Train experience is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and safety.
- Professional mindset and proven safety behavior.
- Experience with all types of pickup and delivery activities, including flat deck transportation.
